Amber & Jack’s Clear Mountain Lodge Wedding

Amber & Jack tied the knot at Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge Spa & Vineyard and what a gorgeous wedding it was! I was lucky enough to capture from getting ready right through to reception and all of the moments in between!

Amber got ready at her mum’s house and had so many visitors throughout the morning! It was a very relaxed morning filled with classic hits such as Nicki Webster’s Strawberry Kisses and honestly….what a vibe. Amber & Jack’s puppy dog River wasn’t able to make the wedding, so Amber made sure to include her in her getting ready plans so we could sneak in a few photos before the ceremony – so worth it, if you ask me!

Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge was such an incredible venue for a wedding. The view was absolutely insane and it was super convenient being able to have the ceremony and reception in the same place. When we finished the ceremony, the wedding party and I headed to the vineyard for the portrait photos. It did start raining while we were there but these guys embraced it and we made the most of the time we had. This wedding party had planned all their poses for their group photos and it was so much fun to see! The guys just wanted to keep picking Jack up and the girls were striking cheerleader poses with their bouquets. They really just had fun with it which is what I loved!

Amber & Jack kept telling me how awkward they were in the lead up to the wedding, but honestly, can you even tell? I loved photographing their wedding day and capturing the love these two share.
