Cedar Creek Lodges, Mount Tambourine, QLD
Ashlee & Adam got married on the Sunday afternoon of the Labour Day weekend and celebrated with their closest friends and family at the gorgeous Cedar Creek Lodges at Mount Tambourine. When Adam arrived at the venue, he was so nervous and it was the sweetest thing! And then Ashlee and their beautiful daughter Millie arrived and my heart melted. Around 30 seconds into the ceremony, Millie ran into the middle of the ceremony to give her dad a big cuddle and seriously, have you ever heard of anything cuter? These are the moments that make me love my job….the cuddles from their little one, the groomsmen shedding a tear when the bride walked down the aisle (even though he didn’t want me to capture it haha) and photographing the gorgeous tribute car that was in honour of a lost loved one. Ashlee & Adam’s wedding was filled with these moments and little stories that really shaped their day and ultimately, their love story. When we went to go take their bridal party and couple portrait photos, I actually sent their bridal party away to go grab a drink and have a break so that Ashlee & Adam could have some ‘them’ time. It was probably one of my favourite moments of the day and they actually said to me how nice it was to actually be able to stop and have a conversation with each other. This is my goal of the day to capture memories while allowing you to be able to pause, take it all in and enjoy the moment. Your wedding day goes way too fast so enjoy the moments when you can…
I wanted to share something a little bit different for their wedding to showcase their story – hope you enjoy this slideshow below.
