One day before lockdown, Sarah & Kurtis tied the knot at Rotary Broadwater Chapel, at Southport. These two had planned an intimate wedding in NSW with all of their friends and family however just one week before their wedding date, the borders between Queensland & New South Wales closed. With Sarah & Kurtis living in Queensland and Kurtis’ family living in NSW, the tough decision was made to move their wedding to the Gold Coast with an even more intimate ceremony. Despite all the changes and last minute planning, their wedding was absolutely breathtaking, with the perfect weather and just in time before we went into another lockdown!
Their venue was right along the water at Southport, and there was all these little special touches throughout the chapel, they did an amazing job with set up! It wouldn’t have been a covid wedding without a live video stream to Kurtis’ family in NSW who still got to watch their beautiful ceremony. After the ceremony, we headed to The Spit for the bride and groom portraits and it was absolute magic! All the natural laughter and love between these two and their family absolutely melted my heart. Also I’m absolutely obsessed with Sarah’s dress from The Bridal Company Helensvale, how beautiful does she look??
Loved celebrating the day with these two and I hope you enjoy their gallery below! x
